Installing Frontier for use with Netpresenz

Frontier is a fast, versatile scripting language. A huge number of useful CGIs written in Frontier exist and there are good references available on the Net on programming in Frontier.

Installing Frontier

The step by step guide to Installing Frontier:

Rename the folder "Frontier 4.1" to "Frontier"
Place the folder in the root of the WWW folder.
 Rename "UserLand Frontier" to "Frontier.fcgi"

Double click the "traps.WWW for NetPresenz" file that comes with NetPresenz.
IMPORTANT: Not the one that comes with the CGI Framework! There is a new version of "traps.WWW for NetPresenz" which comes with NetPresenz. Also, make sure you install the CGI Framework before installing "traps.WWW for NetPresenz" the traps installer copies over entries in the Frontier CGI Framework.
Make an alias to the Frontier.fcgi application and call it "samples.tellParams.fcgi" (The actual frontier code for this is in suited.webServerScripts.samples.tellParams.fcgi).
Put the alias in the root of your WWW folder.
Launch NetPresenz is it's not already running (and configure it if necessary).
 Connect to /samples.tellParams.fcgi"> http:///samples.tellParams.fcgi
